The cables across the floor between the control room and the telescope. Some others are under the carpet, so there are a few more tangles than seen here. The power outlet on the wall isn't used. Electrical codes and the fear that I would burn everything down stopped that idea. I run the observatory from a cord across the lawn to the power strip!
The joystick is part o my plan to get the scope steerable with the stick using EQMOD software. The big box in the back is a nice cedar chest/bench that I store the Orion scope in, and a few other things.
